Back in 1993, shortly after moving to Houston, I led writing courses at Houston Community College, Northeast Campus, in a location where the enrollment consisted of recent high school graduates alongside older citizens who were returning to school. Since then, I’ve trained teachers in Houston and Karachi. I’ve also led an essay writing workshop through Inprint Inc., and writing across the genre workshops through Voices Breaking BoundariesVoices of the Displaced workshops.
